I want to know how to access the data of Toshiba's external hard drive on a Mac computer? Is it possible to retrieve lost data from Toshiba External Hard Drive on Mac? It also fails when I try to open it in Disk Management. However, when I double click it or right click on it, my computer stops working. The external hard drive still appears in Computer and Disk Management. I have a 500GB Toshiba external hard drive, when I connect the external hard drive to my computer, the external hard drive lights up and moves. Is there any way to access the drive and get back all files?
I really need my pictures and docs off of it. Not sure how long this has been happening but the 1st partition works fine.
Now I can't access my 2nd partition on the Toshiba External Hard Drive.
I unplugged it and explorer immediately loaded. A few days ago I logged in to my computer and had my 1 TB Toshiba External Hard Drive connected and it wouldn't let my explorer load.
